Methodology

• Over the years, the Up Kids School team has explored and tested some of the most respected early childhood education methodologies—both in theory and in practice. We studied them in schools, training sessions, and most importantly, in our own classrooms with our students.

• This journey taught us a key insight:

There’s no single path to effective education, but there are common pillars—respect for each child's rhythm, the importance of sensory and physical experiences, learning through play, language as a tool for thinking, and emotion as a driver of growth.

• With this thoughtful and research-driven approach, we created Up Kids Circuit®, a unique educational framework inspired by the strongest principles of:

• Montessori: independence, a prepared environment, and trust in the child’s individual pace.

• Waldorf: daily rhythm, emotional bonding, artistic expression, and a connection to nature.

• Reggio Emilia: the child as protagonist, the classroom as a “third teacher,” and learning through many forms of expression.

• Emmi Pikler: free movement, secure adult presence, and respectful caregiving.

• Positive Discipline: kind and firm guidance, social-emotional development, and mutual respect.

• French active learning (Freinet, Decroly): project-based learning, experimentation, and cooperation.

• Nordic models: free play, outdoor exploration, emotional well-being, and a focus on happiness.
